In three days The Stringdusters take the stage at Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, CO. That sums it up.
In other news the first leg of the Bluegrass, Bikes & Beer Tour was a smashing success, had a blast with my friends, the Hot Seats. Blue Ridge Outdoors has posted a summary of the weekend complete with pictures. The North Carolina leg in a couple weeks stands to be extremely fun with shows at Oskar Blues in Brevard, Newgrass Brewing in Shelby, and Pisgah Brewing in Black Mountain.
This month I'll also be joining my friends Anders and Paul from Greensky for a set at the Aiken Bluegrass Festival in Aiken, SC, Sunliner debuts with our new drummer, the venerable Jeff Sipe at White Squirrel Festival in Brevard, and I'll be doing another round of Grateful Grass in Richmond with Keller Williams. All the dates are on the tour page (at least I hope they will be). Enjoy your spring!
The Stringdusters are half way through our Ladies & Gentlemen Record Release Tour, we're headed to the North East and part of the South to finish up in April. I've announced Bluegrass, Bikes & Beer 2016; 6 shows in NC and VA to support local trail systems. Hope to see you out for that. Summer's here and that means festivals! I'll be at The Aiken Bluegrass Festival, Susquehanna Breakdown, White Squirrel, Del Fest, Revival Festival, Huck Finn Jubilee, Telluride Bluegrass, ROMP, Winnipeg Folk, String Summit, Rhythms on the Rio, Grand Targhee Bluegrass... it's going to be a fun summer. Hope to see you out there!
